Much loved comedian, TV personality, actor and author Julian Clary most recently starred as the Spirit of the Beans in Jack and the Beanstalk at the London Palladium.
About Julian Clary
Julian Clary returned to the London Palladium in 2022 for its annual pantomime for the fifth time following his huge successes Cinderella, Dick Whittington, Snow White and Pantoland.
A popular British comedian, Julian made his TV debut in 1989 with Trick or Treat an ITV quiz show and Sticky Moments on Channel 4.
A regular BBC Radio 4 panelist on Just a Minute, Clary has toured the UK many times with his one man show, including The Joy of Mincing and new tour Born to Mince, and appeared in the play Le Grand Mort at the Trafalgar Studios in 2017.
The winner of Celebrity Big Brother in 2012, Julian Clary has also acted in films, television and stage productions.
He played Leigh Bowery in the West End musical Taboo in 2002, the much coveted role of ‘Emcee’, in Rufus Norris’s Olivier Award-winning production of Cabaret (2007), and in 2009 he took part in the Strictly Come Dancing Tour, partnering with Lilia Kopylova.
Julian was recently playing in a UK tour of Ronald Harwood’s The Dresser, playing Norman alongside Matthew Kelly as ‘Sir’.
