Images have been released of Sheila Hancock & Bill Milner in the West End premiere of Harold and Maude.

Based on the 1970s cult classic film of the same name, the show stars Olivier Award winner Sheila Hancock as a bohemian, devil-may-care septuagenarian and Dunkirk and X-Men star Bill Milner as a compulsive, self-destructive young man obsessed with death.

Part dark comedy and romantic innocence, Harold and Maude dissolves the line between darkness and light along with ones that separate people by class, gender and age.

The production is directed by Thom Southerland, with set design by Francis O’Connor, costume design by Jonathan Lipman, lighting by Matt Clutterham, sound by Andrew Johnson and composed by Michael Bruce,

Harold and Maude by Colin Higgins reunites Sheila with director Thom Southerland after their acclaimed sold-out success with the UK premiere of the musical Grey Gardens in 2016.
