Take That, Lulu and a host of celebrities were out supporting new musical The Band in Manchester last night.
Written by Tim Firth and set to the music of Take That, The Band is an original story about growing up with ‘The Band’ in the 90s and fulfilling a lifelong dream of getting to meet them 25 years later.
Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Mark Owen as well as Lulu were out in force last night to celebrate the opening of the show in Manchester.
Celebrities attending the opening night at Manchester opera House included Graham Norton, Ross King, Louis Emerick, Gary Lucy and the Hollyoaks.
The Band is directed by Kim Gavin and Jack Ryder, designed by Jon Bausor and choreographed by Kim Gavin.
Following its run at the Manchester Opera House, The Band will embark on a nationwide tour playing dates in: Sheffield, Bradford, Southampton, Llandudno, Stoke, Cardiff, Liverpool, Norwich, Canterbury, Hull, Leeds, Newcastle, Bristol, Birmingham, Plymouth, Northampton, Nottingham, Glasgow, and Edinburgh.
