Nocturnal Animals actress Ellie Bamber has joined the cast of Lady By The Sea at the Donmar Warehouse.
Elinor Cook’s new version of Ibsen’s masterpiece will also feature Jake Fairbrother (Hamlet, National), Jim Findley (Watership Down, Lyric Hammersmith), Jonny Holden (Blood Stained Tree, Young Vic), Finbar Lynch (Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, National), Tom McKay (Rough Cuts, Royal Court) and Helena Wilson (Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, Old Vic).
As previously announced the production stars Nikki Amuka-Bird (Love and Information, Royal Court) as Ellida, a woman forced to decide between freedom and the new life she has made for herself.
Directed by Kwame Kwei-Armah (One Night In Miami…), Lady By The Sea is designed by Tom Scutt with lighting by Lee Curran, sound by Emma Laxton and composed by Michael Bruce.
Lady By The Sea runs from 12 October 2017 until 2 December 2017 at Donmar Warehouse.
