Casting announced for The Toxic Avenger at the Arts Theatre

Full casting has been announced for the West End production of The Toxic Avenger.

Mark Anderson returns to the role of Melvin/Toxie; The Book of Mormon alum starred in the original London production of The Toxic Avenger at Southwark Playhouse in 2016.

The cast also features Natalie Hope (The Commitments, Palace Theatre), Emma Salvo, and newcomers Oscar Conlon-Morrey and Ché Francis.

Peter Bindloss and Sophia Lewis will perform swings/understudies.

Based on Lloyd Kaufman’s cult 1984 comedy-horror film, The Toxic Avenger has book and music by Joe DiPietro and David Bryan and will be directed by Benji Sperring.

The rock musical will play a month long season at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, prior to its 10 week run at London’s Art Theatre.
