Five Guys Named Moe, London revival

Full casting announced for Five Guys Named Moe

Full casting has been announced for the London revival of Clarke Peters’ Olivier Award-winning musical Five Guys Named Moe.

Edward Baruwa (Motown, Shaftesbury) will play ‘Nomax’, with the ‘Moes’ portrayed by: Ian Carlyle (Showboat, Sheffield) ‘Four-Eyed Moe’, Dex Lee (The Scottsboro Boys, Garrick) ‘Know Moe’, Idriss Kargbo (Wicked, Apollo Victoria) ‘Little Moe’, Timothy Martin (Ragtime, Bologna Opera Theatre) ‘Big Moe’ and Emile Ruddock (The Scottsboro Boys, Garrick) ‘Eat Moe’.

Directed by Clarke Peters, the song and dance musical will have choreography by Andrew Wright, the choreographer behind Chichester Festival Theatre hits Half A Sixpence, Guys and Dolls, and Singin’ In The Rain.

The show will play at the purposed built Marble Arch theatre, which will be reminiscent of a 1940s New Orleans Jazz club, complete with cabaret table seating and drinks table service.

The musical features the toe-tapping, irresistible hits of jazz legend Louis Jordan, including: Is You Is Or Is You Ain’t (My Baby), Early In The Morning, Choo Choo Ch’Boogie, Saturday Night Fish Fry.
