Martin Kemp and Peter Duncan will share the role of Sam Phillips in the UK tour of Million Dollar Quartet.
Kemp and Duncan have both previously played the role of the legendary record producer who brought Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis Presley into the recording studio for the iconic jam session.
Kemp is best known as the bassist in Spandau Ballet and for playing Steve Owen in Eastenders whilst Peter Duncan rose to fame as a presenter on the iconic children’s television programme Blue Peter. Duncan’s theatre credits include an Olivier nominated performance in The Card and Barnum.
The tour opens in York Theatre Royal on 18 September and is set to visit Hornchurch The Queens, Cheltenham Everyman, Wycombe Swan, Inverness Eden Court, Edinburgh Playhouse, Eastbourne Devonshire Park, Poole Lighthouse and conclude on 25 November 2017 at Ipswich Regent.
