The West End revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel opened last night at the London Coliseum.
Celebrity guests at the first night included Ian McKellen, Brian Connolly, Adam Garcia, Claire Sweeney, Gok Wan and Brian May.
Also in attendance were Kolchagov Barba, Christopher Biggins, Shirley and Don Black, Anita Dobson, Louis Dunford, Connie Fisher, David Gower, Andrew Levitas, Julian MacDonald, Hayley Mills, Arlene Phillips, Anneka Rice, Talulah Riley, Maxwell Caulfield and Linda Robson.

Carousel stars Alfie Boe (Les Mis, Phantom) as Billy Bigelow and Katherine Jenkins as Julie Jordan alongside supporting cast members Nicholas Lyndhurst (Only Fools & Horses) and Brenda Edwards (Chicago,Hairspray).
Rodgers and Hammerstein’s classic musical is third co-production between GradeLinnit and the ENO, and follows in the footsteps of Sunset Boulevard starring Glenn Close and Sweeney Todd starring Emma Thompson.

The show features classic songs If I Loved You, June Is Bustin’ Out All Over and You’ll Never Walk Alone and is accompanied by the ENO orchestra and chorus.
Carousel will run until 13 May 2017 at the London Coliseum.
