In Pictures: The Missing Light at The Old Vic

Puppets have taken over The Old Vic Theatre in an enchanting new show for children.

As part of their programming for families, the The Old Vic present a new puppetry and animation show for ages 7+ about hopes, dreams and true friendship.

Set in a seaside town, the show tells the story of two older people, united by their isolation, who come together to go on an adventure.

Created by Mark Arends for Make Mend and Do theatre company, The Missing Light will run for 12 daytimes performances on the main stage of the Old Vic.

The company use music, puppetry, film and live animation on stage in front of you to create a story that is both moving and technically stunning in equal measures.

The Missing Light runs from 23 March 2017until 4 April 2017 at the Old Vic Theatre.
