Dreamgirls cast recording featuring Amber Riley to be released

The London cast recording of hit musical Dreamgirls will be released in April 2017.

The double-album was recorded live during a performance at the Savoy Theatre last month, and features hit songs from the musical including “And I am Telling You I’m Not Going”, “I Am Changing”, “Listen” and “One Night Only”.

The original London cast recording features Amber Riley in the role of Effie White, as well as Liisi LaFontaine, Ibinabo Jack and Tyrone Huntley.

Loosely based on Diana Ross and the Supremes, Dreamgirls charts the story of a female singing trio from Chicago called The Dreams in the ’60s and ’70s.

Dreamgirls is booking until 10 February 2018 at the Savoy Theatre.
