It’s getting hot in rehearsal for new musical Bat Out of Hell.
Rehearsal images have been released of Jim Steinman’s romantic adventure about rebellious youth and passionate love which stars newcomer Andrew Polec (Strat), Christina Bennington (Raven), Rob Fowler (Falco) and Sharon Sexton (Sloane).
Based on Steinman’s musical collaboration with singer Meat Loaf, Bat Out of Hell is a high-octane rock‘n’roll musical that tears through over 20 of Steinmsan’s songs including I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That), You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth (Hot Summer Night), Dead Ringer For Love, It’s All Coming Back To Me Now, Two Out Of Three Ain’t Bad and Bat Out of Hell.
Directed by award-winning theatre and opera director Jay Scheib, the production will play Manchester Opera House (17 February to 8 April), followed by a limited season at the London Coliseum (5 June to 22 July).
