Mathew Horne joins Griff Rhys Jones in The Miser

Full casting has been announced for Sean Foley’s West End revival of The Miser.

Mathew Horne will join Griff Rhys Jones and Lee Mack in this major revival of Molière’s classic comedy which opens at the Garrick Theatre in March 2017.

Best known for BBC comedy series Gavin & Stacey and The Catherine Tate Show, Horne’s stage work includes Pride (Trafalgar Studios/ tour), Charley’s Aunt (Menier Chocolate Factory/ Theatre Royal Bath) and Entertaining Mr.Sloane /Trafalgar Studios).

Also joining the cast are Saikat Ahamed (Peter Pan, National Theatre), Ryan Gage (Ghost Stories, Lyric/ West End), Simon Holmes (Yes Prime Minister, Chichester Festival Theatre/ UK tour), Andi Osho (Finding Carter, Psychoville), Michael Webber (Cause Celebre, Old Vic), Ellie White (The Windsors) and Katy Wix (Not Going Out, The Windsors).

Molière’s hilarious classic conflict of love and money has been newly adapted by Sean Foley and Phil Porter and will play Bath Theatre Royal and Richmond Theatre, prior its West End.

The Miser runs from 1 March 2017 until 10 June 2017 at the Garrick Theatre.
