Alfie Boe and Katherine Jenkins star in Carousel

Alfie Boe and Katherine Jenkins will star in Carousel at the London Coliseum.

Alfie Boy will play Billy Bigelow alongside Katherine Jenkins who makes her West End debut as Julie Jordan in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s hit musical Carousel.

The production will be directed by Lonny price and have a limited 5 week engagement from 7 April 2017 until 13 Mary 2017 at the London Coliseum.

Carousel is produced in partnership between English National Opera (ENO) and the GradeLinnit Company, and follows the recent semi-staged productions of Sunset Boulevard with Glenn Close and Sweeney Todd with Emma Thompson.

Boe, who is currently on a UK tour with musical theatre legend Michael Ball, is a platinum-selling recording artist, English tenor and actor. His theatre credits include playing Jean Valjean in Les Miserable in the West End and on Broadway, Baz Luhrmann’s La bohème, and most recently Finding Neverland both in the US.

Jenkins is a Welsh lyric mezzo soprano, singer and songwriter who has performed for the Pope, Presidents and Royalty including The Queen’s 90th birthday.

Carousel runs from 7 April 2017 until 13 Mary 2017 at the London Coliseum.
