Matthew Kelly and Arlene Phillips get into Panto mode for the upcoming production of Dick Whittington.

World renowned choreographer Arlene Phillips makes her panto debut as Fairy Bowbells in New Wimbledon Theatre’s Christmas Pantomime, Dick Whittington.

Phillip’s is joined by award winning actor and seasoned pantomime performers Matthew Kelly who plays Sarah the Cook and comedian Tim Vine who plays Idle Jack.

Vine and Kelly return to Wimbledon following their performances of Button and the Ugly Sister in the 2014 pantomime Cinderella which also starred Linda Grey.

Phillips previous theatre credits include The Wizard of Oz, Flashdance, The Sound of Music, Starlight Express, Grease, Saturday Night Fever, We Will Rock You and Jackie.

Dick Whittington tell the classic tale of a poor boy who travels to London with his cat to seek fame and fortune having been told that “the streets are paved with gold”.

Dick Whittington runs from 9 December 2016 until 15 January 2017 at the New Wimbledon Theatre.
