Smells Like Tween Spirit: Episode 1 – They’re In the Band

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s School Of Rock release the first of a seven-part webisode series following the West End cast as they get ready to begin performances at the New London Theatre on 24 October 2016.

In episode one, we see Jo Whiley host the West End launch for School of Rock – The Musical. This episode sees the cast begin their journey performing in the spotlight in front of a live audience for the very first time.

Watch the kids rock out at a jamming session with their future substitute teacher Mr Dewey Finn (David Fynn).

Based on the wildly successful 2003 musical comedy film School of Rock starring Jack Black, the show sees wannabee rock-star Dewey Finn take a teaching job in a prestigious school to make ends meet. Discovering the musical talents of his class he enlists them to form a rock group and conquer Battle of the Bands.

School of Rock – The Musical will run from 24 October 2016 at the New London Theatre.
