Images have been released of Dominic Cooper and cast as they rehearse the forthcoming production of The Libertine.
Cooper returns to the stage following his starring role in the hit series PREACHER currently playing on Netflix.
Since his break-out role in The History Boys, Cooper’s stage credits at the National have included Clap’s Molly House and Phedre alongside Helen Mirren. His numerous screen credits include The History Boys, The Duchess, My Week with Marilyn, Mamma Mia, Captain America: The First Avenger and Warcraft.
Full of flair and wit, Stephen Jeffreys’ sexually charged masterpiece is a brilliant play; it is both a wild period piece and an incisive critique of life in an age of excess.
The Libertine runs from 22 September 2016 until 3 December 2016 at the Theatre Royal Haymarket.
