Michael C Hall will reprise his role from the original New York production of Lazarus when it transfers to London later this year.
Inspired by the book, The Man Who Fell To Earth, Lazarus is a new stage musical featuring Bowie’s songs and is co-written by Bowie and award-winning playwright Enda Walsh.
Directed by award winning director Ivo van Hove the show tells the story of a human-looking alien who has become trapped on Earth.
Also reprising their roles from the New York production are Michael Esper and Sophia Anne Caruso.
Lazarus premiered last year in New York just prior to Bowie’s death in January 2016. Rolling Stone praised the production as a “WILD, FANTASTICAL, EYE-POPPING. A SURREALISTIC TOUR DE FORCE.”
Lazarus will run from 25 October 2016 until 22 January 2017 at the Kings Cross Theatre.
