Beastie Boys musical to play Southwark Playhouse

Beastie Boys musical Licensed To Ill will return to London this Christmas playing a limited run at Southwark Playhouse.

The production previously ran at the Camden People’s Theatre last year, winning over cynics and Beastie Boy fans.

Licensed To Ill is a brash, big-hearted new show about hip-hop’s most notorious pranksters. An eclectic theatre-gig mash-up which incorporates three MCs, one DJ, and a whole lot of noise, the show also features Beastie Boys hits from ‘Intergalactic’ to ‘(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party!)’.

The show is created and conceived by Adam El Hagar and Simon Maeder, who perform in the show alongside Daniel Foxsmith and Tope Mikun.

Licensed To Ill will run from 30 November 2016 until 24 December 2016 at Southwark Playhouse.
