First Look at Harry, Ginny and Albus in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

Cast portraits have been released ahead of the initial performances of the highly anticipated production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

Casting has also been announced for Ginny Potter who will be played by Poppy Miller and Albus Potter to be played by Sam Clemmett. The cast is led by Jamie Parker (Harry), Noma Dumezweni (Hermione) and Paul Thornley (Ron).

Previews for Part One of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will begin on 7 June 2016 with previews of Part Two starting 9 June 2016. The official opening performances of Part One and Part Two will take place on 30 July 2016.

Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a new play by Jack Thorne, directed by John Tiffany. It will receive its world premiere in London’s West End at the Palace Theatre this summer and is the eighth story in the Harry Potter series and the first official Harry Potter story to be presented on stage.
