Casting announced for Wild at Hampstead Theatre

Casting has been announced for World Premiere of Mike Barlett’s new play Wild

Jack Farthing stars as Andrew; last week, a nobody. This week, America’s Most Wanted: a man who humiliated his country with one touch of a button.

Farthing is best known for playing Freddie Threepwood in Blandings and George Balfour in The Riot Club. His theatre credits include Carmen Disruption (Almeida), Bang Bang Bang (Royal Court/ Out of Joint), Love Labour’s Lost (Shakespeare’s Globe and U.S Tour), Helen, Romeo and Juliet (Shakespeare’s Globe) and The Odyssey (National Theatre).

The cast is completed by Caoilfhionn Dunne (Our Country’s Good, The Veil – National Theatre) who plays Woman and John Mackay (Measure For Measure, Young Vic; Oresteia, Almeida) who plays Man.

Directed by James Macdonald, Mike Bartlett’s darkly comic new play explores the unexpected, bewildering, and life-changing consequences of challenging the status quo at a global level.

Wild will run from 10 June 2016 until 16 July 2016 at the Hampstead Theatre.
