Pantomime returns to the London Palladium

Pantomime will return to the London Palladium this Christmas in a sumptuous production of Cinderella.

The classic rags-to-riches tale will run from 9 December 2016 until 5 January 2017, and will be the first pantomime staged at the London Palladium in 29 years. The last panto at the London venue was Babes in the Wood in 1987 which starred Barbara Windsor, Cannon & Ball and Rod Hull and Emu.

Produced by Qdos Entertainment, the world’s leading pantomime producer, the production will be co-directed by Gypsy producer Michael Harrison, and the Olivier nominated choreographer Andrew Wright.

Qdos Entertainment Chairman Nick Thomas said “We are thrilled to be bringing pantomime back following an absence of nearly three decades with a sumptuous production that befits The Palladium’s role as the home of pantomime in London.”
“With an all-star cast this lavish and spectacular production features sumptuous costumes, magnificent scenery and the unmissable and magical breathtaking moment when Cinderella swaps her rags for a stunning Ball gown and is transported to The Prince’s Ball.”

Cinderella will run from 9 December 2016 until 5 January 2017 at the London Palladium.
