Casting has been announced for Rose Lewenstein’s Darknet which opens at Southwark Playhouse next month.
The world premiere of Darknet will star Robin Berry (One Man, Two Guvnors, National Theatre), Greer Dale-Foulkes (The Playboy of the Western World, Southwark Playhouse), Jim English (Hurling Rubble At The Moon, Park), Naveed Khan (Pitcairn, Globe), Ella McLoughlin (Herons, Lyric Hammersmith), Gyuri Sarossy (The Absence of War, Headlong) and Rosie Thomson (Yes Prime Minister, West End).
Directed by Russell Bender, the play is about an internet company that sells personal data and examines data transparency, the deep web and information that we share online. The production has been developed with input from top academics, journalists and specialists working in technology, cybersecurity and online behaviour.
Darknet runs at Southwark Playhouse from 14 April 2016 until 7 May 2016.
