Casting announced for The Toxic Avenger

Casting has been announced for the European premiere of The Toxic Avenger, which opens at Southwark Playhouse next month.

Mark Anderson (The Book of Mormon, Legally Blonde) stars as Toxie alongside Hannah Grover (Ghost, Evita), Lizzii Hills (Chicago, EastEnders), Marc Pickering (Sleepy Hollow, Les Miserables) and Ashley Samuels (The Book of Mormon).

The Toxic Avenger is a new musical from the creative team behind hit musical Memphis, Joe DiPietro and David Bryan, and follows an aspiring earth scientist determined to clean up the toxic waste problem, but when he is tossed into a vat of toxic waste, he’s transformed into superhero The Toxic Avenger or ‘Toxie’.

The Toxic Avenger will run at Southwark Playhouse from 26 Apri 2016 until 21 May 2016.
