Kinky Boots to release West End cast recording

Kinky Boots The Musical to release live West End cast recording from the Adelphi Theatre.

Kinky Boots the hit show from Cyndi Lauper and Hervey Fierstein has announced it will release a live West End cast recording. Recorded live at the Adelphi Theatre, the cast album will be available to buy from 1 April 2016 and pre-order from Sony Masterworks from 11 March 2016.

Inspired by true events, Kinky Boots has taken London by storm winning the Evening Standard Audience Award for Best Musical, the WhatsOnStage Award for Best New Musical and only this week has been nominated for seven Olivier Awards including Best New Musical, Best Actor and Best and Supporting Actress.

Kinky Boots has direction and choreography by two-time Tony® Award-winner Jerry Mitchell, and a book by Broadway legend and four-time Tony® Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (La Cage Aux Folles), and songs by Grammy® and Tony® winning pop icon Cyndi Lauper.
