Full casting has been announced for the Lyric Hammersmith and Filter Theatre Production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, co-directed by Sean Holmes and Stef O’Driscoll.
Jonathan Broadbent (My Night with Reg,) Ed Gaughan (Herons), John Lightbody (As You Like It), Victoria Moseley (His Dark Materials) and Ferdy Roberts (Shakespeare InLove) return to the cast and they will be joined by Hammed Animashaun (Bugsy Malone, Measure for Measure), Andrew Buckley (Skeletons), Clare Dunne (Henry IV) and Cat Simmons (Whistle Down The Wind).
Following the production’s critically acclaimed run in 2012 at the Lyric Hammersmith, this riotous reinterpretation of one of Shakespeare’s best loved plays returns for four weeks only.
Featuring music from The London Snorkelling Team performed by Chris Branch and Keith de Barra, this classic tale of young lovers and warring fairies is given a unique and irreverent twist.
