Sunny Afternoon the hit musical based on The Kinks rise to fame announces UK tour
Celebrating its second successful year in the West End, Sunny Afternoon has announced it will embark on its first national tour opening at the Manchester Opera House in August 2016.
Directed by Edward Hall, Sunny Afternoon charts the iconic 60’s band The Kinks rise to fame. Featuring some of The Kinks’ best-loved songs, including You Really Got Me, Waterloo Sunset and Lola, Sunny Afternoon was an instant hit when it premiered at the Hampstead Theatre, receiving critical acclaim when it transferred to the Harrold Pinter Theatre in October 2014.
