World Premiere of a new play by Gemma Page & Michael Kirk, Hatched ‘n’ Dispatched is a mucky romp through the morals, memories and music of the 1950s.

You are invited to party…The Needham family have buried Uncle Arthur and christened Baby Clifford in a double booking at the church. As Dorothy-Mavis takes charge of preparations for the after-party, tensions erupt and toxic secrets threaten to destroy her family.

But she is not a woman to let family love come between her and social respectability – whatever the cost. Set in the industrial north of England, this black comedy takes place over one evening in early Autumn, 1959.

From the two-time Whatsonstage Award nominated Producer of New Boy and Lifecoach (Best New Comedy, 2009 & 2010) Stuart Piper. The cast includes Wendi Peters (Cilla Battersby Brown Coronation Street, on stage Oh What A Lovely War and White Christmas in the West End), Diana Vickers (LV in The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, Holly in The Duck House both at Vaudeville Theatre, X-Factor semi-finalist), Vicky Binns (Molly Compton in Coronation Street, Ollie in Emmerdale).
