Mischief Theatre’s The Comedy About A Bank Robbery will close at the Criterion Theatre in London.
Described as a smash-and-grab hit, the 1950s set comedy about a jewel heist that goes wrong opened to favourable reviews in 2016 and will have run for just over three years.
The play had been booking until 1 November 2020 but will now close on Sunday 3 May 2020. Those with tickets beyond those dates should contact their point of purchase for more information.
Mischief Theatre will continue to have two other shows running in the West End, their original 2015 Olivier Award-winning production The Play That Goes Wrong now heading into its fifth year at the Duchess Theatre, as well as Magic Goes Wrong, their latest show which has just opened at the Vaudeville Theatre and is now booking until September 2020.
The company’s other recent productions include seasonal Christmas show Peter Pan Goes Wrong at Alexandra Palace and Groan Ups, which was part of their year-long season of new shows at the Vaudeville Theatre.
The Comedy About A Bank Robbery is booking until Sunday 3 May 2020.
