The long-running hit musical The Phantom of the Opera celebrates a landmark 40th anniversary at His Majesty’s Theatre in the West End and a starry cast has taken over for a special anniversary run. As previously announced, the senstational cast for the the limited birthday season includes Jordan Donica as The Phantom and Beatrice Penny-Touré as Christine Daaé, alongside Rhys Whitfield as Raoul, Vicomte de Chagny and Sierra Boggess as Carlotta.

The megamusical, which premiered in the West End in 1986, tells the haunting story of Christine Daaé, a young soprano whose extraordinary voice enchants a mysterious masked figure known as The Phantom, who is a brilliant yet tormented musical genius.

Drawn to Christine’s sensational talent, he becomes her mentor, believing she alone can truly bring his music to life, and as he guides her from the shadows, he falls deeply and dangerously in love.

The full anniversary cast performs through until 21 November 2026, with some stars extending their run.
