The full cast has been announced for the upcoming UK and Ireland tour of Agatha Christie’s The Hollow ahead of its opening at the Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury this October. As previously announced, two-time Olivier Award nominee Peter Polycarpou will star as Hercule Poirot.
A new production of Agatha Christie’s The Hollow is set to embark on a tour across the UK and Ireland this autumn. Following sell-out tours of And Then There Were None, Murder on the Orient Express and Death on the Nile, producers Fiery Angel and director Lucy Bailey (Witness for the Prosecution) reunite to bring one of Agatha Christie’s most psychologically charged mysteries to the stage.
As previously announced, Peter Polycarpou (The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry, House of the Dragon) is set to star as the renowned Hercule Poirot. He will be joined by a cast that includes Luke Allen-Gale, Victoria Blunt, James Clyde, Grace Darling, Kemi-Bo Jacobs, Sarah Moyle and more.
Agatha Christie’s classic murder mystery follows the intrepid detective as he takes a quiet break in the country, but instead finds himself drawn into one of the most unsettling cases of his career.

The full cast and creative team
The play follows Christie’s instantly recognisable storytelling style with Poirot on hand to uncover exactly whodunnit. At The Hollow, an elegant country estate, a glamorous circle of guests gather one summer evening. But beneath the sunlit charm, something darker coils: old passions refuse to die, new rivalries ignite, and dangerous infatuations take hold. Then a shot rings out. A body is discovered, a smoking revolver in an unsteady hand, the scene appearing almost staged — a shockingly straightforward crime that is anything but.
Christie’s great detective certainly has his work cut out for him.
