Jamie Lloyd’s award-winning production of EVITA, starring Rachel Zegler, has released the full cast recording today. The album has been released as both a triple vinyl and digital album and arrives as the production prepares to transfer to Broadway.

Jamie Lloyd’s electrifying West End production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s EVITA made international headlines last summer, during its sold out run at the London Palladium. The sold out run announced that it would transfer to Broadway, opening at the Winter Garden Theatre in February 2027.

The full cast recording has been released globally today as a 12″ triple vinyl and on all major digital streaming platforms. Recorded live in July 2025, the album features the outstanding performances of Rachel Zegler as Eva Perón, Diego Andres Rodriguez as Che, James Olivas as Juan Perón, and the entire London ensemble, across three discs spanning the show’s complete score.

The production received two Olivier Awards, two London Standard Theatre Awards and five WhatsOnStage Awards. Rachel Zegler’s recording of “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina” even reached number one on the Official UK Vinyl Charts.

Broadway bound

Zegler will reprise her Olivier Award-winning performance as Eva Perón on Broadway from February 2027, marking her return to the New York stage following her Broadway debut as Juliet in Romeo + Juliet.

The production’s transfer has been a hot topic, especially since one key element of the London staging won’t be making the leap. In one of the West End’s most talked about moments, Zegler appeared nightly on an outdoor balcony to sing ‘Don’t Cry for Me Argentina’ to crowds gathered outside the Palladium. The moment will have to be reimagined for Broadway, with the creative team citing safety concerns about recreating it at the Winter Garden.
