Strictly Come Dancing and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star La Voix is set to bring her signature glamour to the UK Theatre Awards this October. The annual event celebrates the creative excellence and outstanding achievements seen on and off stage in theatres throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

The UK Theatre Awards are back, and this year, Strictly Come Dancing and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star La Voix will lead the show as host!

Supported by Encore, the awards have celebrated creative excellence and outstanding achievement on and off stage for over 30 years.

La Voix said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be hosting the UK Theatre Awards this year. Theatre has been such a huge part of my life and career, from touring the country with my own show to performing in some of the UK’s most iconic venues, so it feels particularly special to be celebrating the incredible people who make theatre happen across the country. I can’t wait to bring my signature glitz and glamour to the occasion!”

While La Voix is perhaps best known for television appearances on Strictly Come Dancing, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and ITV’s This Morning, her career was built on UK stages.

She has toured theatres around the country for a decade with her own live band, most recently on the sold-out tour The Show Isn’t Over, which culminated in packed performances at Theatre Royal Drury Lane and Brighton Dome. In 2026, she starred as Miss Hannigan in Annie the Musical to widespread acclaim.

Nominations for this year’s UK Theatre Awards 2026 are expected to be announced in mid-September.
