Jinkx Monsoon makes her West End debut as Mary Todd Lincoln in Oh, Mary!, reprising the role she sold-out during her 8-week run on Broadway. Monsoon stars in the title role through 26 September, after which Lolly Adefope will take over.
The dark comedy about the miserable, suffocated Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination has been a smash hit since it premiered on Broadway before crossing the pond and landing in the West End. The 80-minute play is written by Cole Escola, who originated the role on Broadway and joined the West End production.
