Coming to The Other Palace in September is Deep-Heat Rivalry, a new parody very loosely inspired by the hit television series. Sario Solomon and Jason Leigh Winter will star as the hockey playing star crossed lovers.

Inspired by the hit TV series, Deep-Heat Rivalry is set to arrive at The Other Palace in September for a limited run. Sario Solomon (Grease) will star as Shane Hollandaise alongside Jason Leigh Winter (Disney’s Hercules) as Ilya Stroganoff.

Also joining them are Ross Chisari (Moulin Rouge the Musical) as Puck, and Diana Vickers (The Rise and Fall of Little Voice) as THE Diva.

Written by Olivier Award nominated duo Trevor Ashley and Phil Scott, Deep-Heat Rivalry follows two aggressively handsome hockey stars, who’s on-ice rivalry is the stuff of legend. But off the ice, and beneath the bruises, they’re something else entirely.

This camp and chaotic parody is full of locker room drama, forbidden romance, shameless innuendo and plenty of parody.

The cast of the production includes:

  • Ross Chisari (Moulin Rouge, The Rocky Horror Show) as Puck
  • Jason Leigh Winter (Hercules, Frozen) as Stroganoff
  • Sario Solomon (The Addams Family, Oliver!) as Hollandaise
  • Diana Vickers (The Rocky Horror Show, The Rise and Fall of Little Voice) as The Diva

The show is created and written by Trevor Ashley and Phil Scott, renowned for their irreverent, high-camp theatrical style and a string of hit productions that celebrate bold comedy, musical parody, and larger-than-life entertainment.

Trevor Ashley will also direct.
