Communicating Doors at the Menier Chocolate Factory

Lindsay Posner is to direct a new production of Alan Ayckbourn’s Communicating Doors at the Menier Chocolate Factory.

Lindsay Posner returns to the Menier Chocolate Factory to direct Alan Ayckbourn’s comedy thriller Communicating Doors.

Communicating Doors centres on a hired dominatrix who flees for her life through a hotel communicating door only to find herself 20 years in the past…  It won Ayckbourn the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain Best West End Play Award and the prestigious Molière Award in France. It was also nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Comedy.

Casting announced so far includes David Bamber, Lucy Briggs-Owen, Matthew Cottle, Imogen Stubbs and Rachel Tucker.

Lindsay Posner previously directed Abigail’s Party at the Chocolate Factory and he currently has Harvey at the Theatre Royal Haymarket and Hay Fever coming to the Duke of York’s in London’s West End.

Alan Ayckbourn’s comedy thriller Communicating Doors plays the  Menier Chocolate Factory from 7 May 2015 until 27 June 2015.
