Bad Jews transfers to the West End

Joshua Harmon’s hit comedy Bad Jews transfers to the West End’s Arts Theatre.

Following its sell-out seasons at the Ustinov, Bath and the St James Theatre, Victoria, Joshua Harmon’s hit comedy Bad Jews transfers to the West End where it will play for a strictly limited season from 18 March until 30 May 2015 at the Arts Theatre . Tickets for Bad Jews now on sale.

The cast from the Ustinov Studio Bath and St James Theatre Victoria will reprise their roles, with Jenna Augen playing Daphna, Gina Bramhill playing Melody, Joe Coen playing Jonah and Ilan Goodman playing Liam.

The play centres on the death of a beloved grandfather and who is to inherit a treasured family heirloom with religious significance.  Who is the most deserving?  Bossy, overbearing, fanatically religious Daphna? Her wealthy cousin Liam who’s just returned from skiing with his non-Jewish girlfriend Melody? Or Jonah, his brother, who would prefer not to get involved in the fight?

Set in a cramped Manhattan apartment on the night after the funeral what ensues is a viciously hilarious quarrel about family, faith and legacy.
