Broadway star Anna Zavelson is set to star as Christine in the West End production of The Phantom of the Opera.
Anna Zavelson will play the role of Christine Daaé in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s long-running musical for 11 weeks only at His Majesty’s Theatre, from 18 May to 1 August 2026.

Anna Zavelson recently played Christine in Masquerade, the hit immersive theatre adaptation of Phantom in New York.
Her theatre credits also include her Broadway debut as Younger Allie in The Notebook, Chinese Republicans, and Light in the Piazza.
The current cast of Phantom includes Dean Chisnall as The Phantom, Ashley Gilmour as Raoul, Joanna Ampil as Carlotta Giudicelli, Martin Ball as Monsieur Firmin, Adam Linstead as Monsieur André, Helen Hobson as Madame Giry, Bradyn Debysingh as Ubaldo Piangi and Millie Lyon as Meg Giry. At certain performances the role of Christine Daaé is played by Colleen Rose Curran.
Christine is currently played by Beatrice Penny-Touré (Les Misérables Arena World Tour, Mary Poppins) until 9 May 2026.
Cameron Mackintosh’s long-running West End production of The Phantom of the Opera, which is now in its 40th year in the West End and celebrates its 40th birthday this October, recently extended its London run to 13 March 2027.
The Phantom of the Opera features music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics by Charles Hart, additional lyrics by Richard Stilgoe, and a book by Richard Stilgoe and Andrew Lloyd Webber, based on the novel ‘Le Fantôme de l’Opera’ by Gaston Leroux.
The show was originally directed by Harold Prince, and this West End production is directed by Seth Sklar-Heyn.
Phantom has played to over 160 million people in 217 cities, 52 territories and in 23 languages.
