Sabrage, the circus and cabaret show at Lafayette in King’s Cross, has revealed a new line-up of performers.
Now in previews, the cast includes returning performers Neven Connolly, a physical comedian and host; Skye Ladell, a dancer who has performed with artists including Dua Lipa and Sam Smith; aerialist and acrobat Christian Nimri; and circus artist Emma Phillips.
They are joined by Alex Makardish, a cabaret host making his UK debut; Olivier-nominated actor Jarnéia Richard-Noel (Six the Musical); circus performer Kylie Rose Webb, whose work spans aerial hoop and cyr wheel; and aerial specialist Julia Stewart.
Directed by Scott Maidment (Limbo, Blanc de Blanc), the production is presented by Menier Chocolate Factory and Strut & Fret, combining circus, cabaret and live music within a club-style setting.
The show brings together an international cast of acrobats and performers, with a focus on physical spectacle and character-led performance. Its aesthetic draws on vintage influences, with elements of comedy and late-night cabaret woven throughout.
Performances at Lafayette also incorporate food and drink packages, with optional access to the venue’s speakeasy-style bar.
