Festive fiasco Christmas Carol Goes Wrong is returning to the West End this Christmas 2026.
The news was announced by the producers Mischief, the multi-award-winning comedy company behind The Play That Goes Wrong and The Comedy About Spies.
Christmas Carol Goes Wrong will play at the Wyndham’s Theatre in London’s West End from 18 December 2026 to 23 January 2027.

Christmas Carol Goes Wrong is written by Mischief’s original members Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, and Henry Shields, and is directed by Matt DiCarlo.
The show returns to London after enjoying a sold-out, seven-week season at the Apollo Theatre in London last Christmas.
A New Disaster for Cornley
Following the chaotic success of their previous misadventures, the Cornley Amateur Dramatic Society is tackling Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Expect the usual hilarious theatrical mayhem, including missed cues and onstage calamity as the group attempts to stage the beloved Christmas classic.
Christmas Carol Goes Wrong is produced by Kenny Wax and Stage Presence.
Touring in 2026 & 2027
Christmas Carol Goes Wrong is also touring before and after its West End dates, starting at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley on 27 October 2026, and then touring to venues including Norwich, Wolverhampton, Manchester, Portsmouth, Milton Keynes, Cardiff, Birmingham, and Newcastle until 27 February 2027.
The show is also making its North American premiere this Christmas, playing at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles from 12 December 2026 to 10 January 2027; and is running in Australia from 1 to 29 December 2026, with venues to be confirmed.
