Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap, the world’s longest-running play, has announced a new cast for the St Martin’s Theatre in London.

The new company will begin performances on 11 May 2026, and The Mousetrap is currently booking until 3 January 2027.

This latest cast change follows a historic 12 months for the production, which celebrated its 30,000th performance in the West End and holds the Guinness World Record for the world’s longest theatrical run.

Meet the new residents of Monkswell Manor

The incoming cast of The Mousetrap features two of the show’s current understudies now joining the main company, with Saranna Parlone playing Mollie Ralston, and Ben Riddle as Giles Ralston. The full company will be:

  • Saranna Parlone (The Mousetrap) as Mollie Ralston
  • Ben Riddle (A Christmas Carol) as Giles Ralston
  • Stefan Chanyaem (And Then There Were None) as Christopher Wren
  • Joanne Henry (Bridgerton) as Mrs Boyle
  • James Staddon (Bird Grove) as Major Metcalf
  • Anna Rawlings (Witness For the Prosecution) as Miss Casewell
  • Dugald Bruce-Lockhart (The Shadow in the Mirror) as Mr Paravicini
  • Ben Galvin (Runaway) as Detective Sgt. Trotter

The company is completed by Nancy Doubledee, Bella Farr, Barnaby Jago, Richard Parnwell, and Clive Marlowe.

Over 73 years of mystery

First opening in 1952, the world’s most famous murder mystery continues to be a centrepiece of London’s theatre scene.

Directed by the show’s artistic director Denise Silvey and produced by Brian Fenty, the play follows seven strangers snowed in at a remote country house, only to discover a killer is in their midst.
