Casting has been announced for the new dance and physical comedy show Derrière on a G String at the King’s Head Theatre in London.

Derrière on a G String is playing at the King’s Head Theatre from 6 May to 7 June 2026.

Billed as very fun, quite silly, and rather naughty, the comedy was previously staged at Sadler’s Wells Theatre in London.

The cast at the King’s Head Theatre will feature Ena Yamaguchi (The King and I, Cabaret), Sammy Moore (Endgame, Evermoor Chronicles), Cam Tweed (Big), Ryan Upton (The Snowman, Disney’s Tarzan), Alice O’Brien (Quadrophenia: A Rock Ballet, Edward Scissorhands), and Courtney Cyrus (Pinocchio: A New Musical).

Derrière on a G String turns some of the greatest classical music hits into a homoerotic romp of glorious chaos – think Matthew Bourne meets Mr Bean!

This original 75-minute sequence of visual sketches by Some Smith and Moore promises to be an evening that flirts with dance and physical comedy to explore, without words, the awkward, hilarious, and unexpected moments of modern life.

Written and created by Some Smith and Moore, and directed and choreographed by Alfred Taylor-Gaunt, the wider creative team includes set design by Emily Bestow, lighting design by Andrew Ellis, sound design by Findlay Claydon, and costume design by Reuben Speed.
