Tickets officially went on sale today for ‘Sinatra’ The Man and His Music at the London Palladium Theatre.
‘Sinatra’ The Man and His Music will be returning to the London Palladium for a strictly limited season 10 Jul – 10 October. With the enthusiastic support and endorsement of the Sinatra family, ‘Sinatra’ The Man and His Music will coincide with the centenary of Sinatra’s birth and the 65th anniversary of his first UK and European performance at the very same London Palladium Theatre. The show is an extraordinary new multi-media concept, featuring rare or never before seen footage of Sinatra, a 24 piece orchestra, 20 singers and dancers and a sensational live dancing Sinatra. The show includes Sinatra’s greatest hits, including Come Fly With Me , Blue Moon, New York, New York and My Way. Experience the music of the most iconic voice of a generation; a man who always did it his way.
Karl Sydow, the show’s producer, said “I’m delighted to be presenting, with the cooperation of the Sinatra family and FSE, the official stage production for the centenary year of Frank Sinatra’s birth. The production will play the leading role in what I am sure will be a year full of tributes to Sinatra. This new production will take full advantage of the latest technology, bringing the Sinatra magic into the theatre in a way that has never been seen before.“
Frank Sinatra Jr said “2015 is the year of my father’s centennial. One of the most exciting events we have planned is this London show. My father first played the Palladium in July 1950, so it is fitting that the show will debut in the historic venue, as London was one of his favourite cities in the entire world. We hope his many British fans will come and celebrate with us as the magic Ol’ Blue Eyes will soon be back in town.”
