A new cast has joined the smash-hit musical comedy Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at the Savoy Theatre in London.
Alex Gaumond (Matilda, We Will Rock You, Legally Blonde) has now joined the cast as conman Freddy Benson, alongside original leads, Olivier, Tony and BAFTA winning actor Robert Lindsay (Oliver!, My Family) as rival conmen Lawrence Jameson, and Katherine Kingsley (Singin’ in the Rain) as Christine Colgate.
Bonnie Langford (Spamalot) as Muriel Eubanks and Gary Wilmot (The Pajama Game) as Andre Thibault have also joined the cast of this hit show, which leaves the Savoy in March 2015.
Directed and choreographed by Tony Award winning Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels features music and lyrics by David Yazbek (The Full Monty) and a book by the Golden Globe winner Jeffery Lane (Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown) and set and costumes are by Peter McKintosh.
