Burlesque The Musical is coming back to London!
The hit new musical, which is based on the cult movie, is returning to London this year, playing in a new venue at Marble Arch.
Burlesque The Musical will run at the new 550-seat, semi-permanent theatre The Arts at Marble Arch in London from 12 September 2026 to 31 January 2027.
Burlesque originally premiered in Manchester in 2024 before playing a limited season at the Savoy Theatre from July to September last year.
Casting for the London return is to be announced. In last year’s West End production Todrick Hall (Kinky Boots, Shrek The Musical) played Sean, with Jess Folley (The Voice) as Ali Rose, Olivier Award-winner George Maguire (Sunny Afternoon, Bonnie & Clyde) as Vince Maguire, Broadway star Orfeh (Pretty Woman the Musical) as club owner Tess, Asha Parker Wallace as Nikki, and Paul Jacob French (An Officer and a Gentleman, Annie) as Jackson.
Todrick Hall directed and choreographed the show at the Savoy Theatre. Creatives for the new London run are to be announced.
Burlesque The Musical is written by Steven Antin, based on his original movie, with additional material by Kate Wetherhead. Songs in the show are by Christina Aguilera, Sia and Diane Warren, with additional songs by Todrick Hall and Jess Folley.
The story centres on Ali, who leaves Iowa with stars in her eyes, and arrives in LA at a burlesque lounge with dreams of taking the stage with her soaring voice.
The new The Arts at Marble Arch venue was greenlit by Westminster Council in December, and is masterminded by the producers of The Choir of Man. The venue is a temporary home for The Arts Theatre whilst it undergoes renovations.

Burlesque The Tour
Burlesque is also heading out on a major UK and Ireland tour in 2026 and 2027.
The tour starts in Woking on 25 July 2026, and then visits Sunderland, Stoke-on-Trent, Cardiff, Glasgow, Bradford, Southend, Birmingham, Sheffield, High Wycombe, Aylesbury, Liverpool, Leeds, Blackpool, Manchester, Northampton, Edinburgh, Llandudno, York, Wolverhampton, Hull, Oxford, and London Wimbledon.
