The full cast has been revealed for The Choir of Man’s first UK and Ireland tour, which opens at New Wimbledon Theatre on 14 March 2026.

Set in an on-stage pub called The Jungle, The Choir of Man blends close-harmony vocals, tap dance and spoken word in a loose narrative performed by nine male performers. Since opening in the West End, the show has built a reputation as one of the capital’s most accessible crowd-pleasers, with audience interaction at its heart — including the offer of a free beer. Rather than following a traditional book musical format, the production unfolds as a sequence of musical numbers and monologues, featuring songs by artists including Queen, Adele, Luther Vandross, Paul Simon, Sia and Avicii.

The tour cast will feature Gustav Melbardis as Maestro, Oluwalonimi (Nimi) Owoyemi as Poet, Levi Tyrell Johnson as Hard Man, Ben Mabberley as Joker, Rob Godfrey as Beast, Jack Skelton as Handyman, Joshua Lloyd as Barman, Sam Walter as Romantic and Aaron Pottenger as Bore.

They will be joined by swings Sam Ebenezer, Jared Leathwood, Niall Woodson and Lewis Dragisic.

Since its premiere in 2017, The Choir of Man has played multiple sold-out seasons at the Sydney Opera House and toured extensively across the US and Europe. The production is currently on its fourth North American tour and concluded its West End run at the Arts Theatre on 4 January 2026, having played more than 1,000 performances since 2021.

The show is scheduled to return to London later in 2026 in a temporary, purpose-built venue in Marble Arch, while the Arts Theatre undergoes refurbishment.

Producers have also confirmed the launch of The Jungle Choir Community Project, a touring initiative inviting local choirs to take part in the opening night performance in each city. Participating choirs will join the company during the final moments of the show, following advance rehearsals and access to discounted tickets.

Creator and director Nic Doodson said the initiative reflects the show’s core values. “The Choir of Man has always been about individuality, generosity and the joy of making music together,” he said. “Inviting local choirs to join us on opening night feels like a natural extension of that idea.”

Created by Nic Doodson and Andrew Kay, the production features musical supervision by Jack Blume, choreography by Freddie Huddleston, monologues by Ben Norris and casting by Debbie O’Brien. The UK & Ireland tour is produced by HH Productions, Nic Doodson, Andrew Kay, Global Creative and Kenny Wax, and will run through to December 2026.

Following its opening in Wimbledon, the tour will travel to Bath, Cambridge, Coventry, Peterborough, Brighton, Glasgow, Manchester, Sunderland, Cardiff, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Sheffield, Bradford, York, Leicester, Birmingham, Malvern, Canterbury, Colchester, Cheltenham, Chester, Richmond, Aylesbury, Truro, Southend, Guildford, Swindon, Northampton, Wolverhampton, Southampton, Dublin, Blackpool, High Wycombe and Edinburgh, with further dates to be announced.
