The 83rd annual Golden Globe Awards have been announced.

This year’s Golden Globes were revealed at a star-studded ceremony on 11 January 2026, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, hosted by Nikki Glaser.

The period drama Hamnet took home best motion picture drama, with screen and stage star Jessie Buckley (Cabaret) winning best actress for her role as Shakespeare’s wife, Agnes in Chloé Zhao’s drama.

One Battle After Another won best picture, musical or comedy, with Paul Thomas Anderson taking home best director and best screenplay.

Timothée Chalamet also won his first Golden Globe for his role in Marty Supreme.

TV medical procedural The Pitt took home best television show (drama), and British drama Adolescence won a number of awards including best limited series, Owen Cooper won best supporting actor, and Stephen Graham and Erin Doherty also won acting awards for the show, which was written by Jack Thorne (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child).
