The Broadway production of hit West End musical Operation Mincemeat has announced a big cast change.

The original British cast of the show are coming home, with a new, all-American cast performing at New York’s Golden Theatre from 24 February 2026.

The cast currently features David Cumming, Natasha Hodgson, Zoë Roberts, Tony Award winner Jak Malone, and Claire-Marie Hall, who play their final performances on 22 February.

The American cast is to be announced shortly.

Operation Mincemeat is currently booking to 5 July 2026 on Broadway, and is the second longest-running production at the Shubert Organization’s Golden Theatre, after the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Avenue Q.

In the show, it’s 1943, and the Allied Forces are on the ropes. Luckily, they’ve got a trick up their sleeve. Well, not up their sleeve, per se, but rather inside the pocket of a stolen corpse. Equal parts farce, thriller, and Ian Fleming-style spy caper (with an assist from Mr. Fleming himself), Operation Mincemeat tells the wildly improbable and hilarious true story of the covert operation that turned the tide of WWII.

Operation Mincemeat has a book and score by SpitLip – Natasha Hodgson, David Cumming, Zoë Roberts and Felix Hagan, and is directed by Robert Hastie.

The original production of Operation Mincemeat continues to play at the West End’s Fortune Theatre.

In November the show announced that it was extending in London, and is now booking to 26 September 2026.
