Smash-hit slapstick comedy The Play That Goes Wrong adds more dates at Duchess Theatre
Award-winning comedy The Play That Goes Wrong is extending its run at the Duchess Three until 6 September 2015.
The show opened on 14 September at the Duchess Theatre and had been booking until November, but now extends well into next year.
A hit on the London fringe and winner of the 2014 Whatsonstage.com Best New Comedy, the show is co-written by Mischief Theatre company members Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields, and directed by Mark Bell.
The play is a highly physical comedy packed full of farce and slapstick, all delivered with split-second timing.
The play introduces ‘The Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society’ who are attempting to put on a 1920’s murder mystery, but as the title suggests, everything that can go wrong… does, as the accident prone thespians battle on against the odds to get to their final curtain call.
