The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time has added a major run of 2027 tour dates.
The production opens at Birmingham Rep in September 2026 before touring across the UK and Ireland through 2027.
The new stops for 2027 include Edinburgh, Cheltenham, Sunderland, Cambridge, Richmond, Northampton, Manchester, Glasgow, Chester, Aberdeen, Shrewsbury, Bradford, Cardiff, Aylesbury, Southampton, Malvern and Darlington.
Based on Mark Haddon’s best-selling novel, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time follows Christopher Boone, a teenager with an exceptional mind who sets out to solve the mystery of a neighbour’s dead dog. His search uncovers deeper secrets that challenge his courage, his family, and his understanding of the world.
The play is adapted by award-winning playwright Simon Stephens with this new production directed by Ned Bennett, known for Pomona, Yen and his award-winning revival of Equus. Full casting and creative team to be announced.
Curious Incident premiered at the National Theatre in 2012 and went on to win seven Olivier Awards, including Best New Play. The show has been seen by more than five million people worldwide and remains one of the most celebrated British plays of the century.
