New production photos have dropped for Agatha Christie’s courtroom drama Witness for the Prosecution at London County Hall, starring Charlie Preston and Lara Lemon.
Witness for the Prosecution is now playing at London County Hall, booking to 4 October 2026.
The new cast of the acclaimed drama includes Charlie Preston, making his West End debut as Leonard Vole – the man accused of murder, while Lara Lemon – who has previously appeared in The Mousetrap in the West End and The Diary of Anne Frank – returns to the company, this time taking on the pivotal role of Romaine Vole.

They are joined by Roger May (The Pitmen Painters, The Railway Children) as Sir Wilfrid Robarts QC, Graham Seed (The Archers, Bloody Difficult Women) as Mr Mayhew, Christopher Saul (RSC’s As You Like It, Hamlet, King Lear) as Justice Wainwright, and Tom Godwin (Tina!, The Woman in Black) as Mr Myers QC.
The new company also features Sahar Awad, William Bassoumba, Tuhin Chisti, Michael Fray, Caroline Guthrie, Sulin Hasso, Pena Iiyambo, Richard Keightley, Michael Otim-Okot, Sam Pay, Finn Torkington and Jolyon Young.
Witness for the Prosecution is now in its eighth year at the historic County Hall.
Since premiering in 2017, Witness for the Prosecution has thrilled audiences with its immersive staging, placing theatregoers in the thick of the trial as Leonard Vole fights for his life.
Directed by Lucy Bailey (And Then There Were None), the production earned Best Revival nominations at both the 2018 Olivier and WhatsOnStage Awards.
The creative team also includes designer William Dudley, lighting designer Chris Davey, sound designer Mic Pool, and casting director Ellie Collyer-Bristow CDG.
